The Acolyte Season finale, I am confusion in my confusion(Spoilers!)

Osha Bleeds the Crystal

So last episode right, I was a little, a little angry on the way the Acolyte handled some of the reveals right. And now a lot of the things that have been criticised about this show, kinda make sense now.

Like one of the main criticisms of the show is that Amandla Stengerg doesn't really play the main twins of Osha and Mae as two different characters, and it seems that all of that, was intentional.

This finally makes the Anakin parallels cemented in stone, as in case you didn't know, Hayden Christensen isn't really a bad actor, he acted exactly as he was told to by George Lucas to act, people just hated the character so much that they categorized it as bad acting, cause they just couldn't reconcile Darth Vader with Anakin Skywalker, but then again, if you think about the fall it is realistic, I know I'm going to get hate but whatever.

The same goes on with Osha/Mae in Acolyte, as the entire point of the two characters being made using a Vergence in the force is that they aren't twins or sisters, they are the same person, who have been created through a Vergence in the force.

But that, because it began a certain way, just comes off as bad acting.

Stop Talking.

But on the plus, we got to see the first on screen bleeding of a lightsaber crystal, which is something that dark side force users do in order to bend a Kyber crystal to their will as it will usually resist the use of the Dark side.

Bleeding turns the lightsaber crystal red and that is why most Dark Side users have red lightsabers.

Now generally that will require disassembly and re-assembly to expose the light saber crystal but it seems that these lightsabers are different, they are of an earlier build than the ones we are used to, except, why would you ever keep the crystal exposed? and secondly, we know that they did not do that in the high republic era because we have seen high republic Jedi and they carry lightsabers similar to the ones we see now!

Remember Dagan Gera?

Dagan Gera bleeds his crystal.

Yes that one armed Jedi from the High Republic Era in Star Wars Jedi Survivor.

Well he has a normal Lightsaber, and we know it is his original one from the high Republic Era because that's how the game puts it, and he bleeds his crystal by exposing it.

And it is also not thick like the ones in the show, so the excuse, this is an earlier time doesn't work for that either, but regardless, How do we know he isn't from a later period in the high Republic?

Because he is not, this is the end of the High republic Era, the time period the show is set in, and while there is still some time remaining, and perhaps in that time they could manufacture thinner, non-exposed lightsabers, it doesn't matter still, why?

Because we know Dagan Gera is from an earlier time, not only has he not been mentioned in the show, which knowing Disney, they would jump at the opportunity for a Cameo like this, he is also on a quest to go through Tanalor, which is considered a Legend on Koboh, and in a hundred years? That's too low of a time, it has to be before that.

The Dialogue in the game even mentions the Machinery used in the Arrays to be over a thousand years old.

But you know what is the most Damning evidence? The attack on Tanalor, if you unlock all the force echos, you will see one which puts the blame of the attack on the Nihil.

The Nihil attack Tanalor.

Now regardless of whether or not that is true, for the Nihil to still be considered a threat, this has to be a lot earlier in the time period because by the time of the Show the Nihil are long gone, they have been defeated.

So basically the lore does not allow Osha to bleed a Kyber crystal in the way that is shown in the show, and we know the Crystal needs to be exposed, because why else would every other single instance of Bleeding, including Kylo Ren, Darth Vader and Dagan Gera need to do this?

And, why doesn't the Crystal Bleed every time a Dark side user touches a lightsaber, on top of that, why would the show show the crystal as exposed?

And also also, if we let that pass us by, what about the actual process of bleeding?

It is a violation against the crystal, the crystal resists, and there is a Gigantic Shock wave, that has been consistently shown in every instance of Bleeding, Vader, Kylo or Dagan, and in the case of Kylo, it cracked his crystal.

FYI, that is why he uses side vents to stabilize his blade and why his blade is so unstable.

The Shockwave from Dagan bleeding his crystal.

Okay, so maybe you will say that Osha is too powerful, just like Anakin, and therefore she can stop the blast, and no, she couldn't, because Vader couldn't, and maybe someone will say well Vader is at less strength than Anakin because burnt limbs, well Anakin uses the Dark side, more so than Osha, and his crystal doesn't turn, so that is another point against the bleeding.

But also, Osha has to be less or equally strong than Anakin, because he was the highest M-count for a while, and he wasn't split in two like Osha, so no matter how you look at it, this bleeding is bull shit.

But it looks cool though.

And, the "it looks cool though Arguement is presumably why, Darth Plagueis the Wise has now officially become Darth Plagueis the Creeper, as he looks at Qimir and Osha make their way across the sky.

Darth Plagueis the creeper... I mean Wise... yes that's what I meant...

Ah yes, another Rule of two Era Sith, just hanging about meaning, Qimir is either not a Sith like we speculated, or he is an apprentice, in which case, him and Osha will die, because of course they will.

Well at least, on the plus side, man is still a Muun and not Qimir the body builder who also holds Osha's hand, so the shippers were right.

Well that sucks, so this entire thing is meaningless, except maybe, Plagueis learns of Osha and then tries to Replicate her, and you know, he failed, the Force retaliated, and that is what it used to be in legends, but okay, maybe that changed, but Sidious couldn't figure it out, even though he was Plagueis's apprentice, meaning there was always some degree of not succeeding there.

So I'll say the only thing that can save this story line, and that is if in the case of Osha and Mae, the Vergence was already there and the witches just used it, and in the Case of Plagueis he tried to create an Artificial Vergence, but seriously man, why.

Not to mention, Vernestra Rwoh covers up the incident, even though she has no reason to, other than maybe shame, that one of hers turned to the Dark side, which the Show implies that Qimir is her apprentice, okay....

Vernestra destroyed the Order, its canon now.

I'm sorry, my friend.

So okay, and I believe, like the earlier meeting said, they believe a fallen Jedi taught Mae, and maybe they will say the fallen Jedi was Sol, cool.

Again, why? What shame is so great that they allow the Sith to win, the ones, that, may I remind you, ruled the Galaxy previously in this continuity.

Maybe she thinks preventing an external Audit is the main goal, and that was, "the something to tip the scales."

And Yoda is just... there...

Yoda in the Acolyte.

So all of that aside, why did they leave Mae behind?

And that too with her memories gone, why couldn't she have gone with Osha and Qimir?

What... Why?

Oh yes season 2, that is why, cool.

Mae has her memory wiped.
